Tikea Ametlli, M.A., R.P.

Tikea Ametlli is a Registered Psychotherapist (R.P.) and part of the therapist team at Albanian Community Mental Health (ACMH). She holds a Master of Arts and brings over seven years of psychotherapy experience in Albania and internationally.

Her approach is integrative and individualized, grounded in compassion, authenticity, and the belief that meaningful change is possible when clients feel safe enough to explore their emotions without fear of judgment. She draws on evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and grief and bereavement counselling, adapting each to the person in front of her.

Tikea works with children, adolescents, adults, and families addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship difficulties. Her methods include emotional processing support, emotional regulation tools, and trauma processing, and she believes healing begins in a safe relationship where clients can explore difficult experiences at their own pace.

Having practiced in Albania and internationally, Tikea understands the cultural nuances that shape how Albanians experience and talk about mental health. She is particularly committed to providing culturally sensitive and inclusive care for Albanian-speaking communities, in which clients never need to translate their culture before they can be understood.

Tikea sees adult clients at Trauma Care Psychology, Dr. Agako's practice, and children and adolescents through Gladiola Psychology Center, Dr. Musabelliu's practice, in Albanian and English. For clinical services, you can contact her through either practice.
