Dea holds a B.Sc. in Psychology and Health Sciences (Honours) from the University of Toronto and is pursuing an MSc in Pharmacology & Toxicology. She is a clinician-researcher passionate about culturally informed mental health care.

Dea Gjomema is a Research Collaborator at Albanian Community Mental Health (ACMH), contributing to the studies that build the evidence base for culturally grounded care, including ACMH's narrative review of culture, history, and trauma and the translation and validation of ADHD assessment tools into Albanian.
She holds an Honours B.Sc. in Psychology and Health Sciences from the University of Toronto and is currently pursuing an MSc in Pharmacology & Toxicology. She brings experience in clinical trials, literature reviews, and collaborative academic projects, and contributes to mood and anxiety disorder studies at CAMH.
Dea describes herself as an aspiring clinician-researcher passionate about advancing culturally informed mental health care. Her interests center on psychiatric neuroscience, pharmacological treatments for mood and anxiety disorders, and how science, community, and lived experience intersect to improve care for underserved populations.
